Mortal Kombat XI Official Cover Art

Great team effort on this one! I was super happy to have the chance to work on this project and get my hands dirty with the retopologized game model.

My Part:
- High Poly Sculpt in "A" pose & Corrective Sculpts in pose.
- Look Dev (Displacement, Diff, Rough, Normal maps)
- Shading
- Lead Light and Rendering Team.

Breakdown:
I was given a base mesh with a low detail highpoly subd mesh.
I handled the high detail sculpt and made corrective sculpts when in pose.
I had to build the color and gray maps from reference alone because our output was so high res, we couldn't use the game textures at all.
l lead the Light and Rendering team.

*Comp wizardry wasn't done by me, as well as numerous other things!

Texturing XYZ maps also helped alot for the hands and face!
